Resident 2001 - 2003

5/27/2003

The leasing agent was quick to note that this location would be "perfect" for me. Be careful on the tour- they can really trick you in to thinking this is the best place in Minneapolis to live. I came from out of State so what did I know? The staff was "friendly" and helpful.. . . that is until I moved in. Here´s what they don´t tell you on the tour: Maintenance takes about a week and a half to do the most basic of requests. My toilet was plugged (and I lived in a one bedroom with only one bathroom) I had to wait over night to get it fixed and even then it was not fixed right the first time. Then the maintenace guy tracked in his dirty boots all over my carpet. He also opened up my fridge and helped himself to a sandwich and a soda. Management claimed that this was impossible.(hello, are you calling me a liar?) Well, I know for a fact because I only have 1 soda per day with my lunch that I pack for work. I also eat one turkey slice per sandwich and he must have ate 3 pieces. SO if that is not weird enough, the "security guard" is not around all that often. The parking situation is a joke (and I don´t mean ha ha funny). <br>There are a lot of cool places downtown that I found once I got familiar with the city. This place is way too expensive for what they have to offer. The "cheap" details in the apartment are also a huge turnoff. It´s an ok location, but for this price everything should be top of the line instead of bottom of the barrel.
