Former Resident of 700

Resident 2014 - 2015

8/28/2015

The staff seem nice at first, but that's only because the secretaries are nice. The management cares only about money, and will not let any opportunities to get money from you slip by. Firstly, their posters, promotions, and incentives, while not outright lying, do hide many hidden fees. They say rooms starting in the $500s? Noo. There are plenty of hidden fees, and the stories vary depending on who you talk to. Renters encouraged to stay another year beware! Though they say 'keep your rate' and 'get a gift card', what they mean is 'increase your rate by half a thousand, because of -------- policy', and get a gift card if they have any to give. The 700 seems to be getting desperate. More and more people are leaving, so they're trying to seemingly lower their prices long enough to get new leases signed, and then milk the cash cows for all they're worth with hidden fees once they can't escape. Of course, they hide behind the flimsy excuses of 'because this is the policy', and 'I'm sorry, this is just the way things are'.
