We lived here for about 10 months and had multiple issues. Outlining below to help others: 1. Short staffed- Office closes before time on most days and staff isn't available when you need them. Heavy attrition, we saw more than 80% staff turn-over during our stay. All that was committed to us during the lease signature was termed "hearsay", as the person was no longer working with them. 2. Unsafe- Despite being high priced, there's little amount being spent on securing the premises. In the basement garage two cars had their windshield vandalized by someone and there were no security cameras, even at the entry point to capture the unauthorized entry. 3. Dog Poop Mess- We had a ground floor property and people taking their dogs out for a stroll would let their dogs poop near our patio and some of them won't even clean it. Staff paid zero attention whatsoever to reduce that menace. 4. Over Expensive- Trash bill per month on an average was at $50, whether you use it or not. Original commitment at the time of lease signature was $10, but was later termed "hearsay". 5. Lake Smell- Despite being high priced, little effort is spent to keep the lake clean. Stagnant water is an issue most of the time, as pumps exist, but are run less often. This subsequently leads to mosquitoes and bad odor. 6. Rip off when you leave- We have young children who had some crayon marks on the carpet, instead of getting it cleaned, they replaced the entire carpet, including the padding. While it is good to present a clean apartment for the next tenant, however, it should not be done on behalf of the previous one. Instead of refunding our security amount, when I followed-up for the refund status, I was presented with a $1,400 bill for cleaning and carpet replacement. I then started receiving calls from their collection department who threatened to stain my credit history, if the bill is not paid within 30 days. Leaving a piece of crayon behind was termed as "you left your stuff behind". Leaving nail holes on walls had another charge, when I told that it was committed to us that only marks more than a quarter dollar count for penalty, it was again termed "hearsay", luckily I had emails from their staff and they had to unwillingly remove the charge. Attaching images for so called not cleanable carpet damage that led to $1,400 bill. Overall the place has potential, if they focus a little less on over profit making.
