I absolutely love Cedric's Landing for numerous reasons. My husband, daughter and I moved here in 2007. We were downsizing from a very large estate in Georgia -- so just leaving behind so much was quite a transition to begiin with. However, the staff here at Cedric's Landing has always been extremely friendly and helpful, which made this sort of transition a bit easier.
Then the unthinkable happened. My husband was diagnosed with a terminal illness. As my husband's health started deteriorating, the maintenance department made sure that I knew I could always call on them if I needed any assistance. The office staff did as well. They told me they would keep an eye on my daughter if I had an emergency with my husband. Being so far away from home (Georgia & Florida) everyone here at Cedric's pitched in and soon it was like we had a Cedric's family.
I realized that my daughter and I would be able to make it on our own right here because of the love and support we recieved from everyone. The caring and concern for our well-being was foremost from this staff. I was amazed.
Buildings are nice -- but what this staff offered --- no amount of money could ever buy. My husband passed on December 8, 2010. We came home to our Cedric's family and I just can't imagine not seeing Leslie, Courtney, Beverly, Linda, Carla, Joe, and Bernie. To all of these wonderful people who have gone out of their way -- I am forever grateful. Not only as a tenant, but as of "now" a single parent.
I love my Cedric's family, I love my home here at Cedric's Landing and I can't imagine living any place else.
With kindest regards,
Linda Jocelyn Rivers
