When I first moved in a year and a half ago it wasn't bad, but it was nothing fancy. There were lots of holes in the floors, but they weren't terrible. As time went on, the holes got worse. I almost rolled my ankle multiple times while walking down the hall because I stepped in a hole. After about a year of living here, I got new upstairs neighbors who were extremely loud. They always seemed to be moving things around in the middle of the night and having parties all the time. I complained to management and they basically told me too bad there's nothing we can do. But they had no problem telling me my dog was too loud. At one point, a little water got out of the shower and onto the floor. I immediately wiped it up but they came about 15 mins later telling me it was leaking to the apartment below. They threatened me telling me this was a lease violation and if it happened again I'd be out. The re caulked around the tub and guess what? This never happened again even when more water got out. Obviously the caulking was the problem. My dishwasher never worked even though I got a new one. The oven was about 40 years old and just went to whatever temp it felt like and would jump around while it was on. The water was hardly ever hot. Every time you had to resign a lease, they raised the rent. They added utilities bills which would not send you bills, then charge you late fees, then refuse to remove the late fees. When I went to move out they said I had to be out by noon. I checked the lease multiple times and it never said that anywhere. They still told me I had to be out by noon. Stay away from these apartments. They're cheaper than a lot in Rochester, but there is a reason for that.
