I've lived in the E2 Building for ~3 years and I love it! I highly recommend the Ellipse Apartment, Community and Management. Greystar has recently taken over the management and they're doing a fantastic job! Every time I need anything done on my apartment they take care of it very quickly. They go out of their way to treat you like a member of the Ellipse/E2/Greystar family. I needed some work done on my apartment which they took care of very quickly and followed my somewhat unorthodox requests and went beyond what was necessary. Not only did they do the work, but they left a product behind to help me in the future which they didn't have to do. I've never once heard any of my neighbors besides the normal/occasional main front apartment door slams. The walls/floors in the E2 building are solid and I've never had a problem. Ellipse isn't cheap, but it's fairly/appropriately priced for the value you get in return and it's undervalued when you consider the way they treat you. It makes a world of difference to stay in a building where you know the management has your best interest at heart. They want you to stay with them long-term and they work to earn your business. My rent has increased a little over the years but it's very reasonable especially in comparison to some of the other similar apartments. I travel for work, so I've stayed a lot of places including corporate apartments and this community is up there with the best of them while still being much more cost effective. I used to live in the Calhoun Beach Club and I had many terrible experiences with them, so I don't recommend ever renting with them. They treat you like it's a privilege to live there. They would literally charge you for a glass of water if you were on fire. Besides being very expensive they are unethical, and the management team is the worst. I had to pay out of pocket to accommodate a remodel that was required because of a pipe that burst, my belongings were damaged which they refused to compensate me for, the "refurbished" apartment was substandard/cheap and then they charged me for damage that was caused by poor quality goods (flooring that got dents just from setting a coach down). I will never live in the Calhoun Beach Club again. However, I highly recommend considering Ellipse/E2!
