The Camerata of Hoigaard Village

I have lived here for 2 years and just signed my lease for a 3rd year. On the whole I have had nothing but very positive experiences here. Though my apartment is a tiny studio and somewhat pricey it is worth it for the amenities. The apartment is fully loaded with washer/dryer, new cabinets, stainless type appliances that do not show fingerprints, large bathroom and included storage locker. I love the heated underground parking, clean building, trash chute and mail in the building. The office will also deliver your packages inside your apartment. The office staff has been wonderful - they always say hello when they pass you in hall or in the parking lot and they send out texts with important reminders. I've really only had one minor issue where I was told something incorrectly by staff and again it was minor. In 2 years I have had no maintenance emergencies beyond needing a lightbulb changed in the track lighting. The new fitness room is great! I love love love the location - great walking paths all around and even with the train and highway 100 next door it is quiet. My apartment is off the pool so it can be a little crazy on weekends in the summer but overall the residents are respectful. The only cons are the price (but again everything is majorly expensive right now), visitor parking is limited and my apartment is right next to the bathroom by the gym so I can hear people doing their business! But I've grown used to it and can't really do anything to change it. I recently looked at other apartments and thought I am lucky with what I have here. Other places are not nearly as clean with underground parking and all the amenities. I love that heat is included here and water, trash etc. A lot of other places charge extra for those things so that is one thing I love about HV. I don't have to worry about the heat. My AC runs at most $55 a month in the summer but it is central air and wonderful! Overall the Camerata works great for me despite the price because you really do get a lot here. I am not usually one to read or trust these reviews because it is usually just one person complaining about their bad experience and does not always reflect the true nature of a complex. Again I would wholly recommend the Camerata to anyone looking for a great place in SLP. And to me this IS the GOOD part of SLP. I have only once seen a police car here and mansgement sent a text about it the next day as an isolated incident. Overall I feel very safe here as a single woman. Everyone in the building has been very nice.
