(1) I pay $150 for secure garage and my vehicle was burgalarized and bike was stolen. Staff made no attempt to look at video cameras, stated I needed to go through police. (2) Ceilings and walls are super thin - formerly, there was live in maintenance to file noise complaints and deal with after-hours emergencies. Now staff instructs us to call the police. (3) Garage elevator and utility elevators break at least every other month. (4) For those with kids, there is lead based paint used throughout. Most property management teams will at least take these sorts of complaints seriously and try to actively remedy the issues - good customer service from management team is sort of expected at these rental prices. Tenants mostly get slum lord type of service. The only good thing about the properties are the common areas (ie communal balcony) and somewhat decent appliances - new management is mostly unresponsive and dispassionately defers all responsibility to the residents - and yet rent continues to increase. I don't mind paying a higher price so as long as their is greater value - but under current management and present amenities, price is inflated and value diminished.
