Country Club Manor
Resident · 2005 - 2011
I have been residing on the 2nd floor of the "55 building" for 6 1/2 years. I love it. It's very quiet but that is to be expected in a "55 or older" property I think. Also, I read the negative review by the person back in 2007. I disagree and would guess that person ran afoul of the terms of their lease or something and was retaliating. But I would say the building is kept the cleanest of any where I've ever rented (and I'm 67 now and have rented a lot). They have lots of security cameras plus a parking lot set up where all cars have to funnel through a single driveway entrance where a security camera grabs the plate number of every car coming and going. True, not long after I moved in, a Corvette was stolen out of the underground parking. But the guy was caught, thanks to the surveillance video provided by management (or so I was told) and actually was sentenced to some prison time. My only objection is that I would like to have a dog for companionship but the lease doesn't permit that. Else, I would say this is a great place for seniors to live: Large apartments, lots of activities (including pool aerobics led by a professional aquatics instructor), heated underground parking, and two elevators all at very reasonable rents.
