I've lived here for a couple of years now and overall it's not that bad. Keep in mind this is apartment living so you will hear your neighbors especially upstairs. The complex is kept clean but they do allow pets and everybody seems to have dogs and doesn't always clean up after them even though there is plenty of trash cans for that purpose. The staff is always friendly and the maintenance staff has always arrived the same day and fixed what was wrong in the apartment. Winter snow removal is very good on the sidewalks but the parking lot just plowed down the middle and that's it. I haven't been in an apartment complex that does any better though. The swimming pool is very small but perfect for little kids though. The size of the apartments are OK if you are single or newly married. If you have a couple of kids though they really are too small. There are train tracks at the back of the complex and it is an active track. That said the trains do slow down through there so the noise isn't bad at all. The location is right off of highway 55 so you do have easy access. The Arnold Police department is about a mile away so you are on the same electrical grid and power outages are at a minimum and very short if they do happen. They are in the middle of renovating the apartment kitchens and are charging about $80 more for those. Looking around the area though you still would have to pay more than that to get about the same.
