Worst experience I've ever had with an apartment complex. They are only getting the 2nd star because they gave us our money back. I will never recommend anybody to this place! BEWARE: this is going to be a loooooong review to help you save your time and money. My boyfriend and I went back in July to look at apartment availability for beginning of October. The lady we worked, LaWonda, was nice, gave us a tour of a vacant unit, gave us pricing & availability, and gave us an exact floor plan. The only reason we didn't see the exact unit was because it was occupied. Fast forward to September, my boyfriend tries to call to schedule a Saturday to come and view the unit because it was available for viewing. He couldn't get a hold of anybody by phone so he drove to the complex to schedule in person. He got an appointment scheduled for Saturday @ 11 A.M. We go in the next day for our appointment, and the lady we worked with was working. Turns out the person my boyfriend spoke to the day before never communicated to LaWonda we were coming. This is how our Saturday went: 1. After we walked in, she didn't remember who we were at all including giving us a tour, giving us paperwork, having a file, etc. When we asked to view the unit, she was scrambling to get our file out and trying to keep up with us. As soon as she started scrambling, we knew immediately that we were already not going to sign the lease due being unprofessional for our situation. 2. In July we requested a balcony unit because we want privacy and be on higher ground because we have a little dog. We get to the unit that was saved for us to view, it was a ground level unit. 3. The keys she grabbed had multiple on the chain and she tried every one of them and none of them worked, so she said she either grabbed the wrong keys or the lock was changed. So we didn't even see the unit. 4. When we got back to the office, LaWonda alongside another office lady tried pressuring us to sign the lease after all of the crap we dealt with. After that occasion, we proceeded to scramble to find a new place to live. We emailed them consistently to ask for our money back for misinforming us and not communicating with co-workers properly. They proceed to call us instead of emailing us back because they didn't seem to want a paper trail of our situation. As of today, I sent them a not-so-nice email describing the situation and they didn't reply, but my boyfriend received an email that we are getting our money back. In other words, DO NOT come here to get an apartment. Their office communication with other workers and future residents is absolutely awful. You will be better off going somewhere else to get a place to live to not get misinformed and not get your money taken from you, and to fight for extensive time to get it back.
