Resident 2014

1/8/2014

Very very bad. The insulation is terrible, so in the winter you might as well just start lighting your money on fire to keep you warm because it will cost you about the same as your gas bill. You can always hear your neighbors every move and if your neighbor smokes like one of mine does, you will smell it all through your apartment (gross). The snow removal has been awful as well. It snowed 3-4 days ago. Roads are completely clear and yet our parking lot still looks like no one has even touched it. Absolute awful. STAY AWAY.

Due to the extreme temperatures forecast the day after the light snow of 2", with low temperatures of -12 degrees and -35 wind chill; Management did not have the lots cleared on purpose as the snow offered more traction than the ice that would form if the lots were cleaned. The snow was only 2" deep and was very passable and when the extreme cold passed, the lots were cleared. Also the apartment homes have double insulated windows with storm windows, but in these extreme temperatures, the lowest in 20 years, one would expect to use more heat to heat your home. From time to time in apartment living one does hear your neighbors and if Management is notified we talk to every resident about being courteous to their neighbors. We would like to thank all our residents for helping us brave these extreme temperatures of the last week and hopefully we will not have to experience them for another 20 years.
