Resident 2015

9/24/2015

I have lived in various apartments in various states and cities for the last 17 years of my life. I have never had such a horrible experience as I did here. My neighbors are absolutely ridiculous and filthy human beings (and dog but we'll get to that later). I only signed a 6 month lease because I was apprehensive, smartest thing I've done in a while. To start, I found the staff to be very friendly and I had multiple maintenance issues upon move in and they were corrected immediately. Maintenance men seem to be really on top of things and are always roaming around working annnnnndd that's about all the good I have to say. My neighbors have what at first glance appears to be a Shetland pony. But upon closer inspection and evidenced land mines (poop) all over the grass you will notice it is a dog. You guessed it, they don't clean up after this dog either. I know apartments have a weight limit but somehow this creature slipped through. You can hear EVERY single movement all day and all night. My schedule relies completely on their schedule. They keep their trash on the balcony, apparently because aforementioned beast will rip doors down to get to it or something. But like others have said the balcony on second floor is constructed of 2"x6"s so I get to spend my luxury time on my patio with the horrendous smell of whatever they ate the last 3 - 10 nights. One time I was so fortunate to have them spill trash juice all over me.... Like I said filthy human beings. If it doesn't get on me it blows off the balcony so there are always pieces of trash all over the place. I realize neighbors are a gamble and this could happen anywhere. But it probably wouldn't happen at a respectable place and if it did they would be notified and eventually evicted if it came to it. Yes, there are unsupervised kids always roaming around. For the most part I saw of them they were behaving (except for swinging and playing on entrance gates) but a little young to be roaming around wherever they please. I just got back from out of town and will be leaving as soon as I can find a place. I will leave my lease 1-2 months early, GLADLY. If you want to gamble and live here by all means do it. Just don't say I told you so cause I wouldn't do that to an enemy, and AT ALL COSTS DON'T GET UNIT #401!
