      I have lived at Lakeshore Pointe for almost two years. I have nothing but great things to say. Love living on the water with friendly neighbors. Highly recommend!

        Do not be charmed by the waterfront views of this property or its Manager. Management understands people like the view and that is how they get you. One you move in, you begin to notice all the faults with this place. Everything about how this complex is operated is very unprofessional. They have recently remodeled, but if you look closely, the renovations are poorly done. Paint has begun to chip away, bath tubs were simply spray painted instead of being newly replaced, and hardware is falling apart. Also, if you enjoy a good night sleep, this is not the place for you. The building structures are old and insulate sound poorly. Not to mention heat, due to the poor insulation, you will run your heat bill to stay warm during winters. MAINTENANCE! good luck having one of their staff members doing that in a timely manner. More than like you will be reminding them numerous times before anything gets done.

          My family and I moved into the apartments last November. We were very excited about moving into a location that was located directly on the reservoir. We were selling our house and looking for a temporary fix for a year or 2 while we decided where we would move next. Well, this was NOT the place. The day we moved in it was down hill from there. The apartment had not been cleaned from the previous tenant. It smelled like urine, cigarettes, and just general filth. There was stuff on the walls and the cabinets. I told the manager that we did not want to move in until it was cleaned and the manager said she would have her cleaning crew there the next day. That never happened. The foundation, be ready for it, if you live on the first floor your apartments will feel as if you are walking down hill in certain rooms. The apartments are sinking and I honestly do not know how much longer they can let them go before it starts causing some serious structural issues that cant be reversed.             Staff: poorly managed, the "manager" does not enforce her own company's rules, takes 3 days for maintenance requests to be completed, she was caught in multiple lies to us, claims she never gets voicemails or emails sent to her. Move in: Carpets were filthy, cabinets were moisture-damaged, appliances were beat up, closet shelving was damaged, ceiling fans were damaged, stains on walls & in tubs. Safety: Automatic gate stayed broken more times than it worked, fire alarms (non-battery) never alerted during the building fire on 7/3/13 where 12 families lost everything due to negligence. Parking: Became so bad that parking permits were issued, but then not enforced by "management" Appearance: Exterior remodels began in June 2013, ground remodeling began in March 2013 but were partially destroyed by construction crews a couple of months later. Noise: Bottom floor - costs $10 more and you get amenities like hearing every step your above neighbor makes at all hours in addition to the flushing of toilets on the 2nd & 3rd floors. Construction (interior): Built 20 years ago, no appliance or cabinetry updates since installed.               This place is a dump! My move in walk through was a nightmare! The refrigeratior leaks and you cannot put any food in the draws or on the bootom shelf! Three times maintinence has claimed to fix it but it leaks still! The roof leaks in the living room and leaked on my loveseat before I realized it was leaking. Maintience has come three times! Still leaking-now worse. The stove is a 1980's relic that is ugly and the clock and timer dosen't work. The hotwater heater needs to be replaced and a new one is suppose to be ordered.The first time I vacuumed my upright was filled with a white powder! When I questioned the manager about the carpet even being cleaned she said they were old and I should expect this! Also before I signed the lease promises were made that weren't kept! The manager acts like she has a memory problem or just doesn't care. Spiders and their webs are everwhere outside and were inside my apartment on move in.                 Curb appeal Maybe. Rampant Crime DEFANITYLY!!!

                Our small community is in the grip of a crime spree that has been going on for several months. Cars are getting broken into on a weekly basis, bicycles, fishing gear, and other items are taken off our porches regularly. Just this week a motor was stolen off the back of a boat in boat parking. Residents also report seeing drug deals in the parking lots all the time. Management refuses to take the most basic steps to deter the criminal element wreaking havoc upon our lakeside apartment community. They refuse to put street lights on the pitch dark walking path that leads to our mailboxes and dumpster. Other lights that are in place have been blown out for months. The so called gated community has a gate that rarely works and can be driven around with no problem when it does work. Gate codes haven t been changed in years. If you bring these issue up with management you get quoted the lease disclaimer that heritage properties cannot guarantee the safety of your person and/or your property.                   Don't Waste Your Money

                  If you have a family and want them to live in a respectable place then DON'T come here!! They promise amenities, and don't deliver because it is either broken or unusable, as in the gym. The pool area is more like a "meat market" than a place for you and your family to enjoy. I agree with one other reviewer, in that, there are thugs and high school drop outs that live here and this is the spot to go to for drugs. I have called a week ago to get some things fixed in my apartment but to date have not had them fixed, but did get a call from management to remind me of lease renewal.

                    Please note: This location is not in Richland, MS. It is in Brandon, MS. zip code 39047.****If you are a professional, look elsewhere. This community caters to underage drinkers, high school drop outs. A place for felons to locate under fictitious names.If you don't like the smell of marijuana...You will smell it daily in the hallways. A party every night.Too much drama. Management turns the cheek.                       good view, crappy everything else

                      This place has a beautiful view, but the apartments were built back in the 80's and it seems no renovations been done since. Right now there are major problems with this place, my apartment bathroom always smelled like urine, no matter how much I cleaned it (someone told me the plumbing is faulty and not properly vented or something), old appliances, a/c that breaks all the time and damage and other problems are never addressed.
