I wouldn't recommend anybody to move here.!! Management is horrible, the lady in the office ALWAYS have an attitude . The maintenance men don't do ---- .!!! My air went out and it was 90 degrees outside nobody would come to fix my air. Also they are soooooo unprofessional, WHO HIRED THEM? I moved into my apartment April 2018 and I have yet to receive a key, it's AUGUST. My power always blinks out with a refrigerator full of food. Smdh. on several different accounts I have asked management to spray my apartment for the water bugs that are here and yet no one has came, so I guess the roaches are living with me now .!

Firstly when I moved in I immediately had maintenance issues I took 3 months to get my appliances replaced. Carmen is the most unprofessional disrespectful manger I have ever came into contact with, lucky I broke my lease moved out of state but plz don't rent here u will regret it. Maintenance is a joke as well too busy trying to smile in my face then to fix the problem I'm definitely going over their head to report many issues I have encountered.

I would not recommend no-one to move here. The office manager is VERY MESSY & lazy. All the ------- women do is sit in there & gossip & over charging the tenants for rent & stealing their money. They do unlawful things & they cover each other up. This place needs new management. The maintenance rides on the golf cart all day & doesn't fix anything. The place is infested with gnat bugs. It needs to be shut down.

Lived here for 3 years. Had to move because my husband and I got tired of walking in water from the water heater leaking and management telling us they can't help us until it goes out completely. Our bathroom had mold in it, but they brushed it off as mildew..negative. They called themselves fixing the water heater by putting a hole in the wall and never coming back to fix it. Just got tired of calling them to come look at the apartment and not getting a response. They rode on golf carts all day doing nothing. Love the neighborhood and we'd move back when management changes.

I've lived at Baymeadows for almost two years. The office staff are friendly and make it a point to know your name. However, the maintenance and the apartments are not so wonderful. In the almost two years I've lived here, I've had over 5 maintenance issues, and only 2 were properly fixed. The others I've either hired someone to fix the issue, or I fixed it myself. The apartments are old (built in the 70's) and are not renovated. I was fortunate enough to obtain an apartment with "new appliances and AC unit". Yes, the appliances are new, but that's it. The carpet is still the same, original carpet (I was told this by management). The cabinets are old and falling apart (two of my cabinets have holes in the bottom). I have a hole outside my kitchen window that allows rain water in during a heavy thunderstorm. I have mold in the walls, and carpet. As far as the residents - well, there is a diverse mix of people. Probably because this is the cheapest (per square foot) apartment you will find throughout the Metro area. I've had some noisy neighbors in the past, but the… See More>

I moved here in July, my AC went out two days later. It took management so long to repair it. I had to call the city of Ridgeland and they immediately too action. After the first day in my "newly renovated" apartment I noticed a bucket under the bathroom sink which was used to collect water from the drain. Next I noticed the fire extinguisher was outdated from 2010 and has yet to be replaced! Since then I've been sent to court for non payment of rent which I actually had the receipt for. Also i didn't recieve a mailbox until mid September and I moved in July! Here it is may again and I'm sitting in my apartment which air is out again for the 17th time since getting a new unit typing this review while calling the office and getting ignored! Also Carmen is ok but Kayla is very disrespectful and racist! On the outside it appears to be a great place but it's a nightmare once you move! The price is right but my advice is to try across the street or spend a little more money for something better! I promise it's worth it! These are… See More>

Bay meadows has a location that can't be beat in Ridgeland. It is very close to the park, and other shops and areas as well. I have also had friendly interactions with the property manager and has done well to address any concerns.

My experience at Baymeadows was quite a positive one, so it is disappointing to see such negative reviews. Where do I begin?! I think the greatest parts about living at Bay meadows included: 1) My interactions with the maintenance staff. Whenever I had a request, not only did they complete all repairs very quickly, they were very friendly in all of our interactions. Having readily available maintenance staff was very convenient. 2) The pool is huge. I spent so much time at the pool, it was amazing. There's not much more can be said, who wouldn't want a large, clean pool that they could use in their apartment complex?! 3) The apartments are only about Northpark Mall. This was something I really loved. If I wanted to go shopping, I wouldn't have to drive 30+ minutes, such a great benefit. I definitely recommend checking out Baymeadows for yourself. I'm sure that once you get there, not only will you be pleased with the apartments, but also with your interactions with the friendly staff!

I moved in October after living in a few places that weren't the best quality. This place has been soooo much better. Management isn't anything special, but they aren't terrible. They're helpful, they just won't go too far out of their way to help. There were some issues with my room when I first moved in but maintenance got on it pretty quick and fixed them. I like the size of my place and the location isn't bad. You can tell they've done some stuff to make it look better. I'm deifintiely renewing my lease.

I've lived here for two years. When I first moved in there were some serious problems, but they've been fixed. They've just done a bunch of renovations and everything looks so much better. The rent is great and the location is pretty good too. I would definitely recommend this place, it's a great; a lot better than what it used to be.

I'm currently apartment hunting.. I stopped by the office today to get more information about the units. My exact words were "Hi, I'm interested in the property.. And I would like to learn more information". Her response was "what information do you want to know".. Umm I'm sorry, isn't it your job to tell a "future tenant" about the property?... Then I asked if they had any model apartments available and she said no. Complete turn off. Won't be going back

Baymeadows was the worst living experience in my entire life! I moved in August and in less than 7 days their were roaches in the kitchen, bathroom, hallway, living room, and in every crevice that I could find. I immediately reported the problem and specifically asked that they spray, but notify me because of my allergies. Never sprayed, never even responded to my request. After the second week, it rained outside, and flooded inside the apartment as well. I lived in a downstairs unit but my entire bedroom floor was soaked! It ruined my $2,800 bedroom set and when I reported it, the staff was like "Oh, really. We've never had that happen we will definitely fix it." I confronted them to let them know that my neighbor told me that this was going to happen because the previous tenant had the same problem, they denied ever knowing about this. This flooding thing happened again and I put in a formal request for repair or to just simply break my lease. This continued for another month, until I put in a notice to vacate. Meanwhile, the laundry facility does not work,… See More>

Baymeadows is a complete rip off. We get our money order on the fifth. And because we DID NOT want to leave the money in their slot since they don't have the best reputation. Actually it has the worst rep. They charged us a $50 dollar late fee. WTF! If our money order is dated the fifth it should be honored. In the process of contacting the main bosses. This is bs!

WOW THIS PLACE COULD HAVE 30 BIG BOOKS ABOUT THE PROBLEMS TENANTS HAVE AND HAS HAD! If you like the ------ stay at Baymeadow in Ridgeland. The management and owners take in any tenant just foR the money. In the summer the air goes out, never replace the units only patch it up. The water leaks, mold, the dangerous looking mold (black) builded up over the years. They do quick fix ups to move people in. The the tenants I lived around were nice. But the clean up around the area makes you depressed to come home after work. I knew I needed to find a new place to call home when I was depressed to come to the apartments at Baymeadows. The manager is a joke. The assistant should be the mangager she seems like she has more sense. I'm glad I left and is happier to come home with working AC. I cant tell you were to live but I promise you if you move in you will start to have problems very soon. Baymeadows is a horrible place to live and needs to be shut down. Rent is too high for a place that has no WORKING amenities. The building are destroyed as the roof is falling apart, the woods is molded and deteriorated, the washeteria hasnt worked since I've lived there, the pool is a dump, tennis court fence is falling apart. The maintenece is pretty much non-existent because they do patchwork repair on every thing and replace things with old and used parts from other unoccupies apartments. All the maintenance work is poorly done, plus they never cleanup after themselves. The water seldomly works but its free so I guess I cant complain, but I feel that water is a need so it should work properly. When I put in a mainteneace request, Its never honored when they say it will be. If something goes wrong with my rent ins or anyohtr matter they dont tell me until two months after. I have lived in Bay Meadows almost a year now and the service still suck. I am currently trying to find another apartment. I heat went out and we had to buy one heater because of the money situation. I went down to the office and asked them bout the heat and the lights and water they lied in my face like somebody showed up but I was wide awake in that apartment and there was no knock or nobody busting in. It is very noisy as well. There was always police over by our apartments and twice there were firefighters because of the smoke I seen at one of the other apartments. I have a baby and I had to make sure she was kept warm and didn't get sick they wasn't stunting if we were freezing at all. They should be shut down very soon because the office people are lazy and telling people business and I don't think that is right. The sewage bags up like crazy, the air is ALWAYS out, they don't to fix ANYTHING, but they expect you to pay on time. The manager LINDA is a B! ch. When it was time for me to renew my least they never had it ready for me to sign. When I tried to move away from there they gave me VERY BAD references, but if I was such a bad tenant why did you want me to continue staying there. When I did move I gave a 30day notice and they still put it on my credit report and I'm catching HELL right now trying to get it off of my credit report. I WOULD'NT LET MY DEAD DOG LIVE THERE!!!!! Everytime you turn around they on the news the City of Ridgeland needs to shut them DOWN. They are the WORST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
