Nice quiet place. Friendly staff very helpful. Get repairs done in a timely manner. Great pool area. Courtesy officers respond fast to complaints. Maintenance are quick to respond to emergencies. Love it here

    DON'T DO IT!!!! RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION

    I've been living in Van Mark for almost three years and have barely gone two months without something needing to be repaired and each time a repair is needed, it takes longer and longer for that repair to happen. Here are a few examples: I submitted a request for the doors to the laundry area two months ago and they still haven't been repaired. This problem has been going on since we moved in two and half years ago. They come in, do a temporary fix and a month later, they're falling again. At this point, it's a safety issue as I have small children and the doors will fall at any time simply from just walking down the hall.  The light in the kitchen was going out  every week and it would take up to two weeks to get a light bulb changed and that didn't happen until I called and said I was having to use a ring light to cook. After dealing with that for about two years, they finally replaced the lighting with what they're putting in the renovated apartments.       Horrible Management

      I was very excited to move into the spacious “newly remodeled” apartment. I could not be MORE DISSAPOINTED with this APARTMENT COMPLEX ANS IT MANAGEMENT. There are a lot of structural issues(my dining room window is literally separating from the foundation) and equipment issues with the apartment. My second month here and I have had to deal with the improper transfer and shut off of my electricity and then being charged for it. Several cosmetic issues (like leaking sink, falling celling fans, non working dishwasher and electric plugs, etc.) that were fixed (ceiling fan is hanging again) and another main issue of non working heat system. I had to heat my home with my oven after putting in several work orders explaining in detail the issue I was having. Finally I receive a call on July 8th stating that the building was not safe and that we will have to move to another unit and a credit will be provided on my August rent.         The community is well kept and the staff is welcoming. The renovations being done to the community are making it even better and I am so excited for the dog park and playground to open up. I truly appreciate the head maintenance guy for always waving when he sees us and caring about any issues that arise in the apartment. The office staff is not only a smiling face in person but you can hear the smile in their voices on the phone when we call. I am so happy to be apart of this community.

          Breathe of fresh air!

          Since the new staff this complex feels more like a home than an apartment. The refreshing positive attitude, professionalism, response to issues... just top notch. AND, the maintance manager is so professional and personable it really impressed me. Thank you Sonni, Connie and Terrance yall are making a huge difference!!!

            ALWAYS CHECK THE REVIEWS TENANTS KNOWS BEST….Do not move here I repeat DON’T move here. This apartment complex has gone down REAL bad in the last three years save your money GO ELSEWHERE. Hell for $1300 you can get something way much better than this dump. They don’t fixed/repair nothing not even the A/C in the apartment and If they do it takes 2 to 3 weeks before it gets taken care of. They switch staff every year Always new faces that don’t know nothing. Only one dumpster for about 308 units that’s always full, running over and smelling. The staff is rude and disrespectful. Mary don’t do nothing but lie, you have to keep reminding her after she said she has done it.

              These could be awesome apts but the owners don't want to spend real money in making them better. If you like on the bottom apt you can heard ever step your neighbor makes. They want tell you this when you lease apt. Also I had two years of sewage in apt 3106. I had multiple requests to fix the problem which was adress but the odor never when away. No incentive to sign a new lease. The rent is affordable but remember they lost 2 builds due to fire. Wait your options before moving here and read all reviews and lease. Don't let the model apt fool you.

                I have only lived here a few months and let me say do not move here. They tell you whatever you want to hear to get you move in but they do not follow through. Do not let their Demo fool you into thinking that your apartment will be in the same shape because it won't be. One of the worst decisions I ever made and I have lived in a lot of apartments. Also they never check their residents so if you want to move in your entire family they don't care. Do not move here.

                  I have lived here for over 30 years. In the past few months there is a new manager who is AWFUL. She has made us cry several times. She allows people (herself included) to come in our apartment with no notice. We told her we know she doesn't like us and if she would let us out of our lease we would move and she said no. She made no attempt to pretend she likes us. There is grime on the sides of the buildings. Some buildings have different colors painted on it from years ago when they were trying out new colors to supposedly paint. They allow abandoned cars to stay there. They knew about and allowed a hoarder to live in squalor for years without doing anything about it. We have not had new carpet or paint in 20 years and they refuse to update anything. The trash area is absolutely nasty at all times and smells like the zoo. You can't throw trash away after dark unless you are prepared to potentially battle a raccoon.                     The Office Staff is Very Nice , very concerned of any issues I had . The Apartment is so nice inside an out, Is very clean .very spacious inside . I've only been here for almost a week ,but So far I'm experiencing good things . I love my new home . An Not too Mention Kendell . I had a small problem with getting approved for this apartment, ( not my debt ) I called everyday an Everytime Kendell answered the phone he had the same attitude at calming my nerves , he said everything will work out . He kept my spirits up . I know I got on his nerves calling . But I appreciate the Office Staff in being patience with my blowing up the phone in the office an emailing them , lol .. I love my Home . So nice an Quiet . Thanks So Much ..

                        My fiance and I overall experience at Van Mark was horrible. This place was my FIRST apartment experience and everyday I regretted moving to these apartments. When we first moved in, the door hinge was extremely loose, the door to the office was broken, the stove knob was gone (they eventually replaced it), the bottom of the bedroom door looked like a dog had tried to escape, and there was a horrible smoking smell. We dealt with gnats and roaches. We killed about 5 or 6 roaches... EVERYDAY! They sent the bug man to spray, but that solved nothing! We had a mixture of big, medium, and small roaches. You pay for gated security, but the gate is not always closed. There is only one big garbage can for the entire apartment complex (insane, right). The garbage can is always full, so of course people have no choice but to throw their garbage on the side. My fiance and I even encountered a raccoon one night around the garbage can!                           I have lived at the Vanmark for over a year now. I absolutely love my apartment. It's in a neutral area, very quiet and family oriented. The fact that the office staff is beyond amazing is a plus being that I have had some awful experiences with management previously. Maintenance is always on point with fixing the small issues that I've had in the past. They have even helped with taking my trash out. I plan on being here for a while

                            The interior of the apartment is beautiful. The exterior of the apartment is filthy! There is green grime growing on the sides of the buildings visible to the naked eye and they will not power wash or remove it. The windows are so filthy you cannot see out of them and in spite of repeated requests, they have not been cleaned. There are large pot holes throughout the entire complex. The dumpster is so maggot infested and filthy, I don't want to use it. They use their own proration calculator which will charge you more than you are supposed to pay. When you bring it to their attention, they will try to force you to pay it anyway. The landscaping in front of my door is completely out of control and I have concerns that it will grow into the apartment before they tend it. The Office Manager gives a lot of excuses about why things aren't or can't be done. The Assistant Manager seems to be the only person in the office who knows what they are doing.

                              Been staying here since June 2016 and there are so many ROACHES!!! Because so close to the woods. Roaches are huge and no matter how many times they spray the roaches are still here it's really disgusting and it's roach mess everywhere and it doesn't matter how much you clean they aren't going anywhere!!! And they crawl EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!! On top of that the upstairs neighbors are horrible they are loud and can hear everything and I do mean everything!! Also very recently they sent out letters saying that people cars were getting broke into remind you that rent is over a $1000 I don't understand what we're paying for... DO NOT RENT!!!!!

                                I moved here from Lakeshore Landing, I was very impressed with the apartments and the great customer service that I received from Ayana. I've been here over a year now and she calls me by name every time I see her and talk to her. When I call her for any kind of maintenance she gets right on it.                                   I have lived at the Van Mark almost a year. Ayana is the first person I met when I went into the office. She was a great help and told me she would make sure my apartment was nice and everything was done before I moved and she did exactly that. Van Mark is much bigger than many of the other apartments in the area. They are very spacious. They are safe and I haven't had a problem since I moved. I am always recommending these apartments to people who are looking in the area.

                                    This is my 2nd year staying at Van Mark Apartments, and I love it. I moved to Van Mark when I became pregnant with my son, due to needing more space. The layout of my apartment is spacious. Whenever I have a maintenance issue or question, I call the office and ask for Ayana. She makes sure that the issue is handled that day or the next day. Also, it is very quiet, and I do not have to worry hearing loud noises in the middle of the night. I would recommend Van Mark Apartments to anybody that is looking for a nice apartment community to stay in.

                                      My husband and I checked out the Van Mark in August and we loved the layout. We stopped back in six weeks later and Ayana remembered our names and what we were interested the moment we walked through the door. We were sold right then. After we moved in we found a few issues that needed to be fixed. The more urgent ones were fixed within seventy two hours and the others were in about a week. The maintainence workers have also been very cordial. I love that the apartment is gated. It makes me feel a little safer. If I had one complaint, it would be the parking. There is seven or eight parking spaces for eight apartments. It makes it hard to get a close space. When you stop in to check out the Van Mark, ask for Ayana. She will take care of you.

                                        I have enjoyed living in these apartments for over a year, and has no complaints. The maintenance comes when call, or if you see one in passing and need help they will lend a helping hand. The front dest receptionist Ayana has been a big help since we moved in, she always greet you with a smile. Van Mark is the place to be.

From the time I applied until now, I have been 100% satisfied. The office staff Kim helped made my move in easy and comfortable and maintenances are on time and handy.                                               I moved here from Texas about a couple months ago. This was the best decision I ever made for housing as it relates to a safe, secure environment for my family. The young ladies that work in the office are very polite and helpful in meeting your needs as a resident. Kim (BookKeeper) is awesome. She is very approachable and understanding. There needs to be more offices like the one at VAN MARK

                                                I am a new resident to Van Mark and I absolutely love my apartment and the complex. Upon moving in, everything was tidy and clean with very little for me to do other than unpack. The management and staff, specifically Ayana have been very professional, courteous, and friendly. Having relocated here from another state, i was a little hesitant because i knew nothing about the area. I am so glad I chose this location and complex which is in proximity of everything. I plan on making this my home for a very long time and would recommend Van Mark to any new or potential renters looking for a nice place to call home

                                                  I have lived here for over 2 years and have never had a problem that couldn't be fixed. The grounds are well-maintained. Service calls are responded to quickly. The apartments are treated regularly for pests and I've never had any problems with infestation. Frances in the office has been a welcome addition and I feel comfortable that she will make sure any issues are addressed. I would recommend this complex to anyone who is looking for a peaceful place to live that is also close to everything.
