NOT a nice place
Sounds to me as if the new management is pretty defensive and trying to call each person a liar who posts a comment in a less than favorable light. My parents as well as other relatives have lived here. My parents are still there simply because they are older and do not want to have to move again. They like their apartment, however the new management makes me angry. They are rude and discourteous to residents. They have raised the rent many times. The gas and electric bills are atrocious; particularly in light of what is actually used by the resident. It becomes almost unaffordable. When I was looking for a place to live (being unaware of many of the problems at the time) I went to the office to inquire about open apartments. The young person was very rude once she finally got off of her personal phone call to tend to me. She told me they just didn't have any open apartments and none coming up. When I asked if I could go ahead and fill out an application in case any openings did come up, she told me that if I did so, I would have to give her the amount of the deposit with the application and it was non-refundable even if I never got an apartment. A practice I have never heard of and that is extremely unethical! She stated the entire deposit would be collected and not refunded-not an application fee. She was rude and dismissive. The very next day, coming to visit my parents, there was a sign up advertising open apartments for rent!Share This Review
