Kensington Place Apartments

I lived at Kensington Place for 3 1/2 years and loved it! I truly don't understand the negative reviews, as I had nothing but good experiences with my apartments, management, and staff. My first apartment there was a 2 bedroom, and it was clean, spacious, and quiet. Yes, they are older apartments, but they are also built very well and the walls are thick. Then I downsized to a 1 bedroom, which was unique and wonderful. I briefly had an extremely noisy upstairs neighbor but thankfully management was helpful in remedying that situation. I can't say enough good things about management and staff; they were always quick to attend to any problems or issues, big or small, with the apartment in a timely manner. The grounds were meticulously groomed weekly, leaving a beautiful landscape to behold while I walked my dog. The pools were always well maintained, too. The neighbors are generally quiet and keep to themselves, although it is a family and pet-friendly oriented environment. There are community events going on all the time, things like movies at the tennis court and trick-or-treating for the kiddos. As a single woman, safety is a big issue for me, and I always felt comfortable walking alone day or night around the complex, and never had my car or apartment broken into. The complex is also literally 2 minutes from three large grocery stores and tons of restaurants, as well as just a few miles from I-40 and I-26. Overall, my experience at Kensington Place was top notch. You could live somewhere brand new and closer to downtown, but you will pay far too much and probably not get the caring staff and community like this place. The only reason I moved was to relocate, but I really wish I could have relocated Kensington with me.
