First, the quality of construction. If you live on the first floor, expect to be able to hear conversation, walking, using the bathroom and anything else that makes a noise in the apartment above you. This is absolutely the most poorly and cheaply built apartments that I have ever seen. There isn't a place where I've lived or visited where it was so poorly constructed. Keep in mind, things look good and updated, but it's lipstick on a Pig.
Management will take you for anything they can financially. I left my apartment 36 days before my lease was up and they charged me $2500. I had move to another location due to a divorce and was experiencing some financial hardship. They were not flexible or understanding about my circumstances. Granted, a contract is a contract, but have a little understanding and compassion for people.
