The higher-up management of this establishment is atrociously bad at their jobs. They are extremely rude to students UNLESS their parents are present; in which case, they are extremely polite. But once you have signed the lease, the parents aren't there anymore and you're stuckSee More >

I cannot recommend University Highlands enough, my roommate and I have lived here since November and it is absolutely phenomenal. It is very clean, they do a great job maintaining the outside of the apartments, the office staff is incredibly sweet and helpful, and maintenanceSee More >

I will preface this review by saying that I was a graduate student during my stay here. I was not very interested in partying, I just wanted a quiet place to stay. I did not use the amenities at all. The good: The place wasSee More >

READ THIS BEFORE YOU LEASE!! I read all these reviews before moving in and decided to take the chance and do it anyway. Little did I know that was a huge mistake. I'm taking the time out of my busy day to warn you NOTSee More >

Read the reviews and avoid this place. Reviews are accurate. Management was rude, defensive, and disrespectful. We were told we had a time slot that would guarantee us our 2 bedroom apartment. When they didn't have enough 2 bedrooms, they would tell you to mingleSee More >

The staff at this apartment was very rude!!! We were promised at spot, went to our leasing apartment, and were told that were no two bedroom apartments left. They were forcefully trying to have us meet these other two students who also didn't have aSee More >

Easy housing option for students. Fair deal with furniture and utilities included. But the apartments are outdated and things will break, which maintenance might fix if they want to. We have had multiple maintenance ticket requests marked "fixed" when they were not. Visitor parking lotSee More >

Staff was incredibly rude and never wanted to help students. Strictest rules of any apartment complex in Boone. No furniture allowed on porch. Pool rules way too strict. Increased my rent after living there 3 years.

I lived in a two-bedroom apartment at University Highlands for two years, and overall it was a good choice. I'm a budgeter, and I liked that utilities were included in the cost of the rent. Internet and cable TV are included too, andSee More >

Pros: Rent is all-inclusive and the cheapest around here. Furnished. Washer/dryer in every unit. I did have a decent experience with maintenance at the beginning of the semester. Our dryer wasn't working properly, and it was replaced within two days, which was nice. The busSee More >

"Best deal/ BEST HASSLE in town" I will be thoroughly honest, yes it in convenient to have furniture but unless you're in a renovated building it is terrible quality & even renovated isn't comfortable enough to nap on. The carpet is awful, cigarette burns, general stains,See More >

Walls are thin, you can hear the neighbors especially in Bedroom B. Strict about what can be placed on balcony. Gym is on site but does not offer variety. VISITOR PARKING IS TOO SMALL. Plus neighboring apartment complexes use the parking lot making available spacesSee More >

This has been the worst place to live. Living here is even stricter than dorm life. Don't expect to have a life here either because no one hangs out. I have been to other apartment complexes where people leave their doors open to socialize andSee More >

I have both rented and have visited Highlands residents and believe the complex is a fairly appropriate place to live if you desire a quieter apartment as a student. Highlands IS very strict about leaving trash outside doors, public display of alcohol and parking locationSee More >

A cardboard box under the bridge would be better than this place. 1st issue....management will screw you over. 2nd issue....they will not let you move in until the 20th of August and then they charge you for the full month. 3rd issue...not enoughSee More >
