This isn't the flashiest place, but definitely fits all of my needs as a student at UNC. The units are older, but very well maintained. When we first moved in, there were a few things to fix, but the maintenance people got to it the following day.
The staff is pleasant and helpful, and the community tries to do some little party type things, though I haven't attended any. The other residents seem nice, though I haven't interacted with too many of them.
The price is wonderful; I'm saving a ton of money living in Laurel Ridge over the dorms, and I have no complaints about getting to campus. When it's nice out, I can bike, and when it's not, I take the bus, which comes every 15 or so minutes.
Parking is also fantastic, and I've never had a problem.
Overall, I'd recommend this as a good value and a pleasant place to live.
