Lion's Head Apartments

My wife and I have relocated to Charlotte NC. During our visit, we stopped into see this Apt. The area is very diverse and busy, but tucked away, around the bend off of the main street was this quaint apt village complex. This apartment was well kept and very neat and clean. It is managed by R & S Management, a small company. The manager is a nice-native New Yorker, very nice, loquacious and quite a smoker... Ask about other managed sister properties like Swan Run or Parkwood.

The community of 2 story smaller sized 2 bdr/1 bath apts surround a pool with flowering pink and white trees. There is an occassional fire ant mound so watch out, OUCH! The tennis court is wonderful, but the three padlocks tell me that it is for looking at only, thats why its so neat. The manager says that the kids will play ball not tennis in there...

The rent is reasonable and the parking seems ample but currently there are no vacancies here... The on property shade trees give this property a laid back Pennsylvania touch in the South.

Oh, the clubhouse/management office is quite homey like PA or West Virginia. Nothing elegant about a cedar TV cabinet filled with a broken VCR, wires and no TV.
