300 Swift Luxury Apartments
Resident · 2015 - 2016
The other reviews are a bit extreme, if I can be honest. Noise is an issue but more so with undergrads than with the freeway. While 300 Swift can definitely find better strategies for noise management and will hopefully push the city of Durham to improve adjacent facilities (freeway bridge, pedestrian crosswalks), the internal facilities are gorgeous and EXTREMELY well managed. My personal experience has been really positive. I have a strange living situation with my roommates, and, if anything, the staff and facilities here have made my entire stay here more livable and enjoyable. I'm always acknowledged in the lobby and staff are always willing to help and engage in conversation whether they're leasing professionals or maintenance specialists. Sometimes they even help with resident needs outside their scope of responsibility (e.g. offering advice or feedback on ideas). Naturally, residents shouldn't expect this but, to me, this signals that the professionals working here are actual people who are willing to go the extra mile if you can show you're also invested in promoting a healthy living community. Did I mention that the community events are legit, high-touch, and actually foster community? Keep it up, 300 Swift!
