Worst experience ever! I lived in a 1 bedroom unit. Water line broke in the dishwasher and had to call maintenance to come fix. He was really rude to me on the phone and in person. Water heater died and maintenance came to replace it while I was at work. Came home to scratched walls and chipped paint in the living room and bedroom and doors. I went to tell the leasing office the same day because I did not want to be charged for these damages. Left after a year of living and the unit was still in great condition except for the paint damages that maintenance caused. 2 years later I get a call from a collection agency saying that I owe Empire Crossings $400 worth of repairs. I left the apartment in mint condition! Never spilled anything on carpets, no pets, never threw parties, no pictures on walls. Lady in leasing office was polite but never really found solutions to my concerns. Plus, they wouldn't give me back my deposit so I don't see why I'm being charged $400 worth of "repairs" when there was no damage to the unit. They made my 'moving out' process harder than any other apartment complexes I've ever lived at. I only stayed at Empire Crossings because the rent was reasonable at the time. Empire Crossings is full of it.
