Moving into and living in this apartment was overall a frustrating and tiresome experience. Enough that within my first week I tried to break the lease and leave. First I was mislead into believing that the apartment I was renting was an upgraded apartment with stainless steel appliances, when it was actually a classic apartment with older appliances and other dated features. When I arrived to my new apartment I found that it was dirty and full of damages. Some examples include : a dishwasher that was full of mold, a ceiling fan that made a terrible screeching noise when turned on (and that eventually died the next time I turned it on), a filthy oven, a dented and cracked refrigerator(that died only days later, causing me to lose most of my food to spoilage), holes and missing paint on the walls, loose outlets, paper shoved in my ac pipe and painted white to match, and much much more. Suffice to say, I was very disappointed with the apartment I received. The next day when I arrived to report these issues on my damage sheet, first I was dismissed and told that three people including the manager had just inspected the apartment and found NONE of what I reported. The tone quickly changed when I showed photo evidence of the state of the apartment. I was promised that all of the issues would be fixed as soon as possible. A washer and dryer was also installed in the apartment, which was a problem because I made it clear a month earlier that I would not be renting a washer or dryer from them. I was also promised that they would be removed in the next couple of days. Those statements were also false to a degree. I had to wait until the day my washer and dryer were set to be delivered to have them removed ( and the apartment's maintenance workers arrived around 3 hours after they were supposed to arrive) , and for some of my other apartment woes to be addressed. A week later, and many in person meetings and emails exchanged and most of my apartment complaints still have not been addressed. Just know that this apartment complex only has two maintenance workers employed, and this is a fairly large complex. If you decide to rent here, make sure to get everything on writing, because they will also try to spin a false narrative about what information was provided to you over the phone and the state of the apartment that you are renting. There was also some shooting on the property within the first week I moved in and the police were called. The only 3 positives I've experienced in this place is 1.) while overworked, the maintenance here is very friendly, 2.) I received a one time $100 credit towards my rent for some of my hardship and 3.) the neighbors are also incredibly nice. Do I believe this is enough? No. Do I regret ever signing a lease here? Yes. Long story short, find somewhere else to live. I don't recommend this place to anyone.
