2 years here and the only resaon I am still here is because I knew I would be leaving NC soon and did not want to move twice. These apartments are nice at first glance, but you will quickly find that they are very outdated. I don't think my neighbors or myself have ever had a working screen door. It falls onto the porch every time you try and open it. The pool is fully shaded by about 3 which can be very disconcerting when you want some afternoon sun. The shade wouldnt be so bad though if the algae in the pool did not make you think twice about entering the water. It's pretty clean through early and mid-summer, but the last 1 1/2 months that its open, they stop the maintenance. The 'tennis court' has been closed down for 1 1/2 years out of my 2 living here... so maintenance is obviously a little slow. I had an element in my oven burn out and... they left a new one at my door??? i did it, but don't I pay to have someone do that? Oh yeah, you cannot use a coffee maker and waffle griddle at the same time because the kitchen, 2 bathroooms living room and one bedroom are all wired to the same breaker!!! I turn off everything in my apartment (even the tv or radio) just to make coffee!!! Also, dogs of ALL sizes are accepted. This may sound nice to a large dog owner, but try stepping outside to piles of doggie doo the size of a large pony's. This size animal also does a number on the occupied apartments. If you do decide to rent, insist that they replace the carpet. Shortly after moving in, the previous stains will start to resurface and they will be your problem. Nice staff though.
