There are two sets of apartments here..the old ones built about 8 years ago and the new ones built I guess 5 years ago? We're in the old ones, so (at least in ours) you can see a little wear from previous tenants. However, ask and you shall receive. Whatever you need fixed is fixed without question. The office staff are all very nice. The price is great even with pets.

The grounds keeping is never let go, although it could use more trees in my opinion. The pool in the summer time is great and always clean. We haven't used the basketball or tennis courts though. The workout room could use some updated equipment, but it does have tv and is always the perfect temperature for working out.

The office is wonderful about helping you with packages or faxing or printing something even. We only had one bug problem last summer-ants. But that was fixed and done so with care to our cat. Parking has never been a problem--finding a space or feeling unsafe.

We've walked around the community late at night during the summer and felt perfectly safe. The playground is nice and the park next door is great if you want to catch a summer kids ball game.

They aren't worried about you painting or putting holes in the walls, etc. as long as you get it back to the way it was when you moved in. In that regard, you have the feeling of a home with the amenities of a landlord to fix things.

I love that there is a lot of diversity in who lives here-age and ethnically. There are young people in college, grad school, etc. There are young, middle aged, and older couples. There are families with kids that walk in the afternoons. Morrisville Parkway is great for walking, especially with a stroller or dogs.

Crosstimbers is close to five grocery stores and little shops etc. It is also 10 min to a Super Target and 15 to a Super Walmart and any store you'd ever want...The mall in Durham is about 15 min. and the Raleigh mall is about 25 min. I would have liked to see more less expensive food choices nearby.

Honestly, we really do enjoy it here and although we wouldn't live here more than a few years (we'd rather be in a house) it suits us.

I think the neighborhood needs a light at the intersection, especially with the school traffic in the morning.

Anyway I've gone on long enough, hope this helps someone.
