I have lived at Ivy Commons in a one bedroom with my fiance for a year now. The first year made me want to pull my hair out! I live on the first floor and the people above me played music loud and non-stop. One lady I spoke with at Ammons Pittman told me they didn't manage that unit and she couldn't do anything about it, calling the cops failed too. So, I went to another lady who works in management and complained about the noise and the next day the music stopped, luckily those people moved out. One bedrooms are tiny and it's almost stressful trying to live in such a small space. Neighbors pretty much keep to themselves but can be annoying. Many people have multiple cars which take up space and they can't park them in the lines either. Parking isn't enforced well so good luck parking in front of your building if someone just decides to park their car here for a while and doesn't live here. Ammons Pittman doesn't allow pets and while some units are not managed by AP the majority are and more people have pets than not. However, if you try to get a pet legally, they don't want to hear that other people have them without asking. I would love to move into a 2 bedroom but I would like to bring my dog, however, looking at all these other reviews, I should probably just wait until I get a house to buy a dog cause not much is better than here. Another great thing is that they raised the rent for new renters but kept it the same for those already living here. I have to say that it is pretty quiet and you aren't bothered as much but personally there are somethings I would like to see different around here.
