When i moved into Fourth Creek almost 4 years ago, the management was WONDERFUL!... But, after new management took over, well....not so much. First, they finally replaced the siding. The siding people put a hole in the corner of my dining room. A year later, after MANY attempts talking to the front office to get it repaired, i had to contact corporate and it was repaired. really?... I don't want to move, this is my home. Even long term residents get their rent raised when our lease is up. We pay our rent, every month, on time, keep our apartments nice and this is what we get... raised rent... I was told it needs to be up to "market Value"...... really again?.... Statesville has limited apartments to choose from. There should be an incentive to stay, to renew your lease, to be thanked for being a good, responsible tenant. On top of that, the new tenants moving in the cable is included in the rent. Those of us that have been here are also supposed to take this cable. Many of us already have service with another provider, so this is a big issue right now with most of us. Management is trying to force us to drop our service providers and pickup their Time Warner Cable. This is so wrong. Another issue is the pool.. this is the ONLY amenity we have and most of us really enjoy the pool during the summer months.......Pool hours are from 10:00 am - 8:30 pm....... well, right now, you NEVER know when it will be open or closed. One nite it was open till 10:00 pm. yesterday it did not even open till 2:00 pm. It is really frustrating and disheartning that management just does not care about their tenants. I love where the apartments are located and i realize not everything can be just perfect, but it seems as if the Management is just out for the money, and does not care about us at all. I had a concern and called management. I received a call back, none of my concerns were addressed, but i WAS told that my rent was not up to Market value and that I was using cable which I was not paying for. Not the case, I have another provider and am not using 4th Creeks cable. Just another indication of poor and unprofessional management.
