I moved in my freshman year into Brookstone Village. It was the first place I took a tour at, went and looked at some other complexes, and then went straight back to Brookstone to sign a lease. Management is always friendly and always looking for ways to become more involved with the residents, like this week they set out exam packet with various goodies in the main office and for Halloween they had a door decorating contest where the winner one a free large pizza from dominoes [I posted a picture of my door decorating :)]. I was shocked when reading all these reviews since Brookstone has always been really receptive towards any problems or issues. For me, it is a perfect place. I don't have a car either so I am able to walk to class at UNCW and can also walk to the Lowe's Foods store in the shopping center behind the apartment complex. Both roommates I've been paired with are really nice, and my neighbors are all really friendly as well (most of them are also students at UNCW or CFCC). Location, Price, Management--Out of all the complexes in the area, and seeing what complexes my friends live in and the prices, Brookstone is the only one I'd vouch for in all three areas.
