Nice Place, But a Little Expensive

I lived at the Pines for two years in a one-bedroom apartment and enjoyed my stay. The one bedrooms are a little older than the two bedrooms and are therefore much quieter and have solid construction with huge closets, a spacious bathroom, a nice patio, and big kitchen. There is a nice pool that does not get very crowded during the summer, a small gym, laundry facilites, and gated entry; but no tennis courts. A few things to note: some of the apartments that face the back are quieter but get little sun. The apartments can look a little dated inside and could use some new appliances. Also, I had an old A/C unit and my power bills were exorbitant in the summer, even for North Carolina. I had friends who complained about the expensive rent and noise in the two bedrooms, but they were very spacious apartments. The staff is relatively friendly and maintainance is fast, but pet fees are exorbitant if you want to have Rover or Fluffy stay with you. Close to stores, WFU, and the main roads in Winston, but some less than desirable apartment complexes are nearby.
