Among several issues, most recently & most concerning, there have been homeless persons entering our building and squatting in vacant units. Police were called earlier this week by other residents who heard noises next door in a vacant unit. 3 days later around 1:00AM, I had to call the police because the squatter who was banned from the property had returned and our building, which was not secured since the prior incident. After the police circled the building and left, another resident called the police because the nonresident knocked on their apartment door and was wandering inside the building. According to management, the person squeezed through the garage and since our elevators do not have fob-access, they accessed the third floor with no problem. Several residents and I have requested for additional security measures to be put in place, but either "it's out of budget" or "we [management] will cross that bridge when it happens". In other words, management and ownership of this property do not care about the safety and security of residents. It's business as usual and all about the bottom line. I cannot wait for my lease to end as this has been a disastrous process and I will never live in a RangeWater-managed property ever again. Avoid at all costs if possible.
