Unfortunately my generally positive experience with this property has now been tarnished when upon moving out, on top of the $120 carpet cleaning charge included in the lease (that no other leasing company I know of charges), i was also charged a cleaning fee of over $100. I and others cleaned this apt top to bottom, including moving appliances, and scrubbing the bath tub and oven. When i asked for documentation on why a cleaning fee was charged, i was giving a sheet filled out by a cleaning company with rankings for each room. They rated every room as dirty or very dirty, which are complete lies. I was a single person living here for 2 years without pets. I was told i didn't have to worry about the carpets (due to cleaning fee in lease, although i did vacuum) or painting walls (since i lived here for over 2 years), yet somehow even bedrooms where rated as "dirty". How on earth can an empty bedroom that has been vacuumed, dusted, and windexed be rated as dirty? What could possibly be done to get a clean rating? I was given a contact email for a regional manager, but have been unable to get a response from her. Very sad that a leasing company resorts to these types of tactics for some chump change. I've been a renter for 15 years, have never not received my full deposit back.
