It's ok for what it is...Wouldn't recommend though
Considering the neighborhood it is in, it isn't that bad. I always had really good luck with the management and the maintenance man responded asap the one time I needed my buzzer repaired. Noise from apartment to apartment wasn't too bad (I was on the top floor, though)-- but what sucked was the noise from the parking lots! People are so rude and would drive around with their music blaring (while their infant children were in the back seat by the way), but my neighbors were always really nice. I lived on the top floor and worked as a waitress downtown, so I would come home at like 2-3am... that's when the creeps were out and I would get hollered at by some random guys just sitting in their car in the parking lot when I was going from my car to my apartment. Also- when my neighbors were moving in, they had the door to the stairwell propped open and I got a knock on my door from 2 tall, black guys in their early 20's telling me they were "selling stuff"...when I looked thru my peep hole, they weren't holding anything to "sell" and told them that I didn't want whatever they were selling. When I watched them walk away, they hadn't gone to any other apartments to continue their "sale"...Oh yeah, it was like 9pm on a Friday night too. I was a student at Creighton at this time and cannot complain about the convenience of the apartments. But I have heard of people getting robbed on their way to campus in broad daylight, so I would be careful. Fortunately, I had no problems like that- but I still don't think it's worth risking your safety. They do have a random security guard driving around at night, but it's not enough to make a difference. Oh yeah, and as a student walking to campus everyday, I got to know the homeless men who get DROPPED OFF by their family members to beg for money from people exiting off 75. When I moved in my apartment was DIRTY....but, when I moved out, I meticulously cleaned and got my FULL deposit, PLUS reimbursed for part of my last month because I moved out early! So again- GREAT management, in my opinion. Also, maybe I am just lucky, but my cars never got broken into-- and I had 2 very different types of cars while I lived there (first a 1992 Camry, then I got an 2003 CR-V, so both in way different conditions) and neither were ever bothered, nor were any other cars in my lot. I lived in Nicholas Court (the one closest to the mgmt office), which always had really nice people in it, but I feel like the complexes closer to Cuming St. (especially the people who park in that huge lot in the middle) are SO rude and ------- THOSE were the loud ones. Overall, it really wasn't too bad but I think I got really lucky. Would never want to live in a place where I was seriously afraid for my life EVER. AGAIN.Share This Review
