I lived here for close to 2 years and just moved out. It used to be great. Not anymore. Can't recommend unfortunately. New Manager Sara is just a huge step in the wrong direction. Changes that I've noticed since her inception are as follows:
* Place doesn't seem to be kept up - cleanliness of exterior, patio etc.
* The light in the parking lot was out for months- so the parking lot was completely dark. As a woman- it's NOT a secure feeling to come home to a dark parking lot in downtown Omaha.
* People keep quitting
* She doesn't talk to residents- everything is in memo form- not people friendly.
* She hosted a "meet and greet" in the lobby when she first arrived with donuts and pizza... never left her office once to engage residents.
* If there is a problem with your apartment, she will try to find a way to make it your fault to make you pay.
* I was told she cancelled the complimentary internet to see if "the residents would notice" - it took more than 2 months to get it turned back on. and that was only after a few tenants made a big deal of it. Why it had to resort to that I'll never know.
* Used to be lots of chocolate and candy in the lobby- now it's just lollipops.
* If she can find a way to save money at the residents expense she will.
* Upper management used to care about this stuff- apparently not any longer I guess.
* If you have other choices- go for it- I did.
