Former Resident · 2018
I lived in these apartments from October of 2017, until May of 2018. I had to be let out of my lease by a manager in Denver do to substandard living conditions. Maintenance in this apartment complex is a joke. I would have to call several times for each maintenance order, and when maintenance would show up they would make a half-hearted attempt to fix things, and then call it good, without ever really fixing anything. Upon move-in the unit was disgusting, the carpet should have been replaced years ago, and it probably hadn't been painted for at least 5 years. The hallways of the building smell terrible. Not one of my windows function properly, they were rotting in the window frames, and all the screens we're unusable. Ihad multiple maintenance issues, including a roof leak and a hole in my ceiling for 2 months, that maintenance made very little attempt to fix until I called a corporate manager. the snow removal in this apartment complex was next to nothing. My apartment had a 2 in sheet of ice in front of it for more than 2 days before maintenance could be bothered to take care of it. The office staff is terrible to deal with. The manager Jess is rude and condescending, and multiple times told me I was the problem for complaining about my living conditions. the new manager Marissa, is somewhat better she listens and seems to care while you're on the phone with her, but the minute she hangs up the phone she disregards your problem. Takes days and multiple messages to return phone calls. This is Far and Away the most substandard awful apartment I have ever lived in. Don't ever rent from here, or from any Property Management by the advantac group. if I had a choice between Fireside Village, and a cardboard box under the interstate, I would choose the cardboard box!
