I have lived here for about the same time period, and I thought it was just the building I was in!
Siding tore off the building in one of the storms, it hung from the building for 2 weeks beforethe wing finally blew it off, only to land on a car that got dented and scratched!
Trees have been broken and landed on cars, I know, my hood is dented!
Parking is horrible, and last summer while they were cutting all bushes away from the grounds, they took up and entire section of the parking lot to dump the debris, which cut down at least a dozen spots for 1 1/2 months!!!! I was forced to park 2 buildings away!
Dogs are now allowed in the units, the barking as you open doors is bad enough, but the owners who let them mess in halls and don't clean it up are worse.
They have been moving in tenants that aren't worthy of living in a box on the street when it comes to their ability to respect other neighbors. Leaving trash in the halls or decks, cleaning out the cars in the parking lot instead of the dumpster, thinking it's fine to jump up and down on floors, slamming doors, playing music so loud you can't hear your own. And reporting these things to the office is useless, either the message never makes it there from the answering service, or they just don't call you back. Try sending it in writing...it conveniently never gets received.
Plowing, salting, shoveling...not until 2 days after the storms! When it's either melted or frozen!!!!
The drug selling, shootings, stabbings, etc. are out of control, just read the newspaper, if you get it and another tenant hasn't stolen it before you pick it up!
The office with the new management SUCKS! If you report that an upstairs neighbor has a leak, the office will try to charge you to fix the water damage!
If you get a delivery at the office, they don't ask for ID before giving out packages, I've had 3 deliveries "taken" and signed for, but not by myself! UPS won't cover it because the office signed for them, and the office won't take responsibility for the missing packages either.
I could go on, but I think the point is clear. These are NOT luxury apartments, and I can't wait to finally move!
