Management was very pleasant to deal with on the rare occasion you were able to reach them. When I first moved in, there wasn t even an office to call with questions or problems. Once they established one, no one was ever there. Maintenance was pleasant, but again, always seemed to have a water heater to replace when they were needed. I waited over a week to get a stove when the one in the apartment broke.
The outside of the units are dated and had substantial water damage. The garage door was almost rotted through. But they were spacious and cute. The carpet smelled of mildew when we moved in. I assumed it was due to a poor cleaning crew when I moved in since it is the tenant s responsibility to clean it when they leave. I later noticed several cats in the community, and thought that may have been part of the problem. The community is also extremely noisy, lots of VERY loud motorcycles speeding through the community at all hours of day and night.
The snow removal policy is extreme and ridicules. They have an air horn they blow when it s time to move your cars. There is no place to go while they plow so I found myself driving around in sub par weather until they were finished. I understand not wanting to plow cars in, but I was far more inconvenienced by moving my car to allow them to clear my spot, then I would have been if they had been like every other apartment complex I have lived in, and just allowed me shovel myself out.
The apartments are the only ones that were like them in the area, so if they have the amenities desired, it will work. However, be prepared to fix your own problems and have almost all the responsibilities of owning.
