This was my first apartment and thought I was getting a great deal for the space. Was I wrong. I moved into the complex April of 2005. It took me until May to get all of my move-in repairs compeleted.

Then in June I turned on the air conditioning unit in the kitchen to find out that it didn't work. I reported the matter to the woman at the front desk, Ann, who is a shrew. After several weeks of going back and forth with her I had to threaten legal action to get my AC unit replaced. (This all took place in 90 degree temperatures mind you).

Then in late July I noticed little tiny worm-like bugs coming in through the AC unit in the bedroom and then water damage started to appear above the unit as well. Again I reported it to Ann who again gave me hell. Again I had to threaten legal action before they would make the repairs.

But the cherry on top of it all happened in late September on a Sunday afternoon. I was sitting in my living room watching TV when I noticed someone out front on my patio. It was a teenager, after asking him to leave or I would call the police he tried to push his way into my house. If that wasn't enough it took the Washington Twp Police 15 minutes to get to my apartment because they couldn't find it. And then the Sgt. taking my statement told me it was my fault the kid tried to come in after me because my living room windows were open. It turns out the kid was a resident on the building across the way from me. I told management about the incident on Monday morning and told them they could no longer provide me with a safe living arrangement (which is part of a standard lease) and they told me I would be charged for breaking the lease. This time I had an attorney get involved and subsequently was release for the lease without penalty.

But on my move out date that woman Ann was still a shrew to me.
