This review is for the Newport building on 350 Prospect Ave which unfortunately is also maintained by Quail Heights management. This building is a piece of crap! The nice people that already live here are being held hostage by a management company (John E. Hanson management) and a maintenance team that just does not care about anybody. Do not talk to, deal with, or take advice from their sales representative Maria. She will use a bait and switch approach to get you to rent in this building. The 1 elevator in this building is broken every other week! The main lobby of the building smells of mold and mildew which they try to cover up instead of replacing the old stained carpet. If you have a problem in your unit, you will have to call the maintenance office 2 or 3 times before you get a response. When they do respond to your issue, they will do the bare minimum to fix the problem so that it does not cost them anything, or they may not fix it at all telling you that this is the way it is. If you can, find another apartment complex that falls into your price range. I would give it zero stars except for neighborhood location.
