When I moved in last year, the condescening and arrogant Miriam who's in charge of renting out the units showed us STRICTLY 2 units although there were at least 30 vacancies in the entire 3 building complex. Based upon very credible sources, she discriminates applicants based upon there race and age. She probably makes her commission based on the "finders fee" which amounts to your monthly rent which is NON-REFUNDABLE. The 1 bedroom unit is spacious for 2 people which is equipped with carpeting and a nice size balcony. However, the kitchen and bathroom being carpeted is still befuddling. The outdoor parking is atrocious after midnight. At times, you can't find a single parking space leaving you the option of street parking or hoping someone will leave at those hours. Although you're given a pass to gain access to the parking lot, it's not properly secured giving access to non-tenant residence. The ones without a card usually tailgate the car in front of them and quickly drive pass the gate before it shuts back down. Futhermore, the gates to the entrance or exit seem to break down at least once a month. Depending on whether you believe the rental office or not, ALL units are assigned an indoor parking space. However, 65% of the parking lot is vacated ESPECIALLY the top floor which is basically barren. EXCEPT for Miriam, the rental office and maintenance staff are courteous as long as give them respect. They should reassign this lady or completely relieve of her duties. She has no etiquette on how to deal with the public. For the money, it's affordable with a convenient location. Nevertheless, there are a few drawbacks to this site.
