Resident • 2007 - 2008 Not Recommended
I lived at Quail Heights for a year. First off I'm not sure if she works here but Miriam who I believe is the manager was awful. She tried very hard to be civil during the first time she gave me a tour but once I became a resident she was surly, rude, and extremely unhelpful. Also there were several occasions where the fire alarm went off in the whole building in the middle of the night and after the 3rd time this happened I called the 24 hour apartment maintenance number and when I reported the problem i was literally told "why are you calling me? call the fire department!" when I complained about the rudeness the same man told me to file a complaint then. My apartment bathtube was filled with rubbish when I first moved in, and the elevators would not work on many occasions. Also, the walls are super thin and there were several nights I stayed up due to the noise level of my neighbors television running. the only plus is that the rent is cheap on Prospect Ave. Several times the super came in while I was at work to do maintenance and there were pieces of trash and clear shoe stains in the carpet where they had walked around. this was an awful experience and I'm glad to be out of there. would NOT recommend this place if you can help it.
