I hate living here. For starters when we applied for the apartment, they only had one left in the style we wanted and there was a woman currently living there at the time that we forked over $1,4500 out on this place only to not see our apartment until THE DAY BEFORE MOVE IN. The office staff is unorganized, non-accommodating and RUDE. There is one woman who wouldn't even remember her head if it weren't already attached to her body. Idiots. We had to keep calling and they kept us in the dark about a lot of things. We compared to the experience as "buying a car without test driving it first." This ordeal BEFORE move-in should have been a red flag but we continued and didn't back out, as the location for my boyfriend and I is ideal and we're both familiar with. Our downstairs neighbors SMOKE heavily in their apartment and often times the smell comes up into our second-floor apartment, leaving our bathroom WREACKING from the scent, bad enough to where our towels and loofas smell of the odor. And do not even get me started on maintenance. We had a problem with our dryer and had to call them out multiple times to look at it because they kept ignoring the issue and weren't accommodating to our work schedules. At one point I called about an issue and the woman in the leasing office (the bumbling idiot I spoke about earlier) started fighting with me on the phone after I told her my boyfriend and I both work full-time jobs and could not be in to drop off the check until the following day. She proceeded to say "well I work full time too, and cannot wait around for you" OKAY. Mind you, I get out earlier than most people, and she would have still been there. If it weren't for WORKING FOLK, how do you think you're afforded a salary? the apartment is spacious, not entirely up to date, but okay nonetheless. It smells like gas leaking occasionally, and the appliances are old... I think the main issues lie, however in the establishment itself and the people running it. I would never choose to live here again and cannot wait until our lease is up.
