The Hudson Tea Building
Resident • 2001 - 2002 Not Recommended
Lived in the Tea Building for one year, that was all I could take. The apt. was huge, which meant that it was freezing in the winter, and a sauna in the summer (due to the fact that they only had two tiny-little electric AC/heating units in the living room) Mgmt office was always a pain to deal with. Parking is expensive! And if you are there for 5 minutes or 2 hours it is always $20. So having friends stop by is a pain. The gym was supposed to be free, then they popped a $200 bill in my mailbox for it. At one point during a winter storm we had snow blowing through our window-sill. The window was closed and locked! It is very, very drafty. Upon moving out there is no way to get all of your security deposit back. We hired a cleaning service to clean the apt, then got slapped with a $150 cleaning bill after we moved out. Rediculous. Skip the Tea building. I moved just down the road to the Riverbend building about 1 mile away in West New York. It is like living in a luxury resort 24-7. I love it.
