I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff before moving in and at the time I was shown my apartment, it was a beautiful morning and no residents were in sight. It seemed like a nice place. The apartment was very clean and all had been redone.
Shortly after I moved in I realized I had moved to a complex one step above Camden. The fighting between boyfriends and girlfriends out in public, the kids roaming the streets until all times of the night, trash being dumped right on the grass, stories of a possible murder of one of the residents, and warnings to keep my belongings indoors and doors locked. Oh, and the constant noise at all hours of the night by the neighbors, terrible. This is going to be the longest year of my life.
It's not the worst, but you can find better for your money so my suggestion is to keep looking.
