Hunters Chase is a decent place to live but not the best. I have been here for 5 years and each year the rent has increased rather significantly. With this in mind, there have been no upgrades or maintenance done to the inside of my apartment. You have to pay extra to have your unit updated. The electric bills are out of control! Prior moving to Hunters Chase I paid less in electric charges for a much larger space. Expect to pay about 250.00 per month in electric bills. I had an issue with my air conditioning when it broke. It took 4 phone calls until it finally broke on a day that was 98 degrees. The contractors showed up at 7am on a Saturday and I was not prepared. The management failed to tell me that they were sending someone to fix. During another maintenance event, they failed to lock my front door and when I came home from work my unit was wide open. When I called the office to complain NO ONE ever called me back!!!!! They charge everyone a flat rate for the water utility regardless of the number of people living in the apartment. There aren't enough dog stations and people do not pick up after there pets! I have a dog and respect my neighbors by disposing of waste properly. There isn't enough parking and it's often hard to get a spot. Since there isn't assigned parking many residents have multiple cars that stay parked all the time. This is very frustrating! Overall, it's just not worth the 1300.00+ dollars that I pay per mont for a 1 BEDROOM outdated apartment!!!!
