We're very sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction at The Villager. We purchased The Villager because it is a lovely community located in a great area, but for many years it was not cared for. We invested over $2 million to correct the deficiencies not addressed by prior ownership, such as: Installing new entry doors; replacing insulation and ductwork in every attic; replacing central HVAC units with new energy efficient units; repaving the parking lot; and refreshed landscape design; new kitchen cabinetry with ceramic tile backsplashes; remodeled bathrooms with new ceramic tile, fixtures and vanities. Since our ownership, every single resident has received a variety of lease renewal offers including the options for kitchen and bathroom upgrades or other improvements. We also installed a new "Bark Park" and resident BBQ/picnic areas. Across the street there is a baseball field, playground and a walking trail, as well as a neighborhood swim club just a few short blocks away. We don't charge more than our competitors, but we give more! Everyone on our team works very hard to respond to issues that are brought to their attention and we are truly very sorry if you've had a less than excellent experience. We believe that the large majority of residents are happy with their apartments, but we are not perfect and we always look for ways that we can improve. However, it is difficult to respond to criticism and complaints that are made anonymously, and it is even more difficult to respond to unconstructive, inaccurate remarks that are made online and intended as disparaging and vindictive attacks. We are serious about our commitment to our residents and we are serious about making sure you have an excellent living experience.
