We are truly sorry you feel this way, and would appreciate the opportunity to try and change how you feel. Even though our communities are not smoke-free we still try to protect all individuals from unwanted exposure to secondhand smoke. We will work together as a team to keep the laundry rooms clean, but the garages are to be maintained by the residents renting them. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept or protect your packages from being taken if they are left unattended. We suggest you have packages that do not require a signature be delivered to a workplace, a retail store (like for Walmart), a locker (for Amazon), or to a neighbor who will be home. We're glad that overall you seem happy with your choice to call Plainfield Village your home, and we appreciate your long residency with us. We are aware of a current issue with stray cats and are working with the animal humane society to alleviate the problem. Also, please note that with the ongoing burden of the pandemic, we have lowered our rent increase amounts this year, and we have been working closely with anyone who has had difficulty paying their rent. We are so happy to see the great review of our staff and the community. But sad to see you have had to deal with flooding twice and contended with parking. We do know that parking can be tight and that flooding in a certain area is likely when heavy rain occurs but we do try to warn the residents before moving in. We are very sorry that this has happened to you. We have been working with the township and contractors on trying to resolve the issues as best we can. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience you and your family have experienced in respect to your heating and parking issues. The heat in your building has been on and working this month, but as the heating season begins we often have to make adjustments to the boiler temperatures as temperatures rise and fall. If your apartment is still cold, we can also check your radiators to see that they are working properly, please give us a call at 908-668-1856 so we can send someone out . Also we know that parking is limited on the property and is now more difficult on the neighboring city streets, so we are towing vehicles off the property that do not have our parking permit, and are looking into a possible expansion of our parking lot to create more available spaces.
