Resident 2012 - 2016

8/10/2016

When I moved in here in 2012, I knew that the apartments were old but the layout and size for the money was good. I finally moved out four years later because I couldn't stand it anymore. The good: large rooms, green space, friendly neighbors, parking outside your door, convenient clean laundry rooms. The bad: OLD and poorly maintained. I didn't complain very often because when I did there was a reason that it was my fault e.g. rust around the tub drain was because I "didn't dry the tub." No insulation: kitchen pipe froze because I didn't have heat high enough rather than the pipe was on an outside wall. Windows: terrible draft and hard to open and close. Old appliances that are only replaced when they completely fall apart. The noise between floors is terrible. I had great neighbors but if they walked at all it sounded like a haunted house. Plowing erratic. The So-so: I know people love the maintenance guys but I have had limited luck. The management urges you to use the online work request which was not responded to the three times I tried it. Hit or miss on whether something gets fixed...early on my pilot kept blowing out and it was relit multiple times before Victor changed a setting and I never had another issue. Office is not helpful. The rents are cheap for the area and apartment size but you get what you pay for. I know they are upgrading so maybe it will be better. Definitely would not recommend.
