The main reason we moved here is to keep our kids in West Deptford. Being apart of Stone Throw allows for them to have more friends and a safe area to play. The apartment it self is spacious but poorly maintained. Our utility bill is very high because of the windows and our door doesn't close properly because it is bent. The bathroom and kitchen show years of water damage without proper repair. Many other tenants have the same complaints but no upgrades have been made even after years of promises by management. In addition our rent has increased close to $200 dollars a month in the 3 years we have been here and on top of that we are now required to pay for water and sewer. The amount of rent and utilities is not in balance with the low quality of the apartment, at the very least windows and doors should be upgraded to help with energy efficiency and cut down utility costs. The landscaping is also an issue, the grass is made up of weeds, crab grasses and prickers that stick to everything and hurt like shards of glass if you step on them.
